Introduction To Hotglue

Bio

As you probably read from the main page, my name is Sam, I'm 21 and I am currently studying a BSc in Digital Media at the University of the West of England.

I started working within the media industry at the age of 16, where I was lucky enough to gain some work experience in the Vodafone Media suite for 6 months. As well as working in Vodafone I was also studying an ICT Btec and an AS in Media Studies, learning such things as web design, graphic design and my teacher's obsession with saying the phrase "Mise en scène". Whilst studying ICT I was given the chance to design a website for the sixth form, which I swiftly accepted.

After leaving secondary school I decided to expand my skill set and studied Music Technology. The reason I chose to do this was because music has always been a huge passion of mine and I have always wanted to take it further. During this time I was part of a band in which we played a few gigs and were also featured on BBC Radio Berkshire's 'BBC Introducing' slot on the radio. Below are
are a few examples of the work I did
during this time.

After finishing my music qualifications I
decided that I wanted to make a career for
myself in media. But before doing this I
wanted to travel the world, so I got on the
first flight to Australia. Whilst there I
experienced a completely new way of
living, which made me want to progress
into this career even more.
